7 DIY Aloe Vera face Masks for Bright and Glowing skin

Aloe Vera is becoming very popular in cosmetics for perfect skin. It contains 75 potential active constituents :Vitamins, enzymes, minerals, sugar, salicylic acids, amino acids which makes skin healthy.

1.  Face Scrub

  • 2 tablespoon aloe Vera gel
  • 1 small banana( optional
  • 1 teaspoon of white/brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of sour curd.

How to Use:

Make a thick paste and scrub it in circular motion for 3minutes and leave the pack for 20 minutes and rinse off.

Why?

Banana will hydrate and moisturise your skin and it has the power to prevent fine lines and wrinkles. Glycolic acid Acid presesnt in sugar provides a remarkably even exfoliation of skin and dissolves dead skin cells

2.   Acne

  • 2 tablespoon aloe vera gel
  • 1/4 teaspoon of organic nutmeg powder.
  • few drops of lemon

Why?

nutmeg is an ayurvedic medicine as it has antiviral antibacterial elements that remove the infections, clogged pores and hep in oil control. Lemon juice helps in lightening dark spots.

3.   Dry Skin

  • 2 tablespoon aloe vera gel
  • 1/2 teaspoon of extra vigin olive oil/ almond oil.
  • 1 teaspoon of honey

Why?

Olive Oil/ Almond Oil will keep your skin moisturized and it also offers anti- aging benefits to your skin. Honey will give a glow to your skin.

4.  Oily Skin

  • 2 tablespoon aloe vera gel
  • 1 teaspoon of yogurt( optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of tomato juice.

Why?

Tomatoes have cooling and astrigents properties. hey are rich in vitamin C, which can eliminate acne and brighten dull skin. Yogurt contains lactic acid, which can aid in exfoliating the skin.

5.   For Sensitive Skin

  • 2 tablespoon aloe vera gel
  • 1 teaspoon of papaya pulp.

Why?

The pulp of papaya fruit provides hydration and nutrition to the skin owing to its water, carbohydrate, and fat content. It provides skin firmness and anti- aging benefits.

6.   For SunTan

  • 2 tablespoon aloe vera gel
  • 1 teaspoon of cucumber paste
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice.
  • 1 teaspoon of curd.

Why?

Lemon juice helps in lightening dark spots. Cucumber coolthe skin and it is effective on the redness of the irritated skin.

7.   For Depigmentation or dark spots

  • 2 teaspoon of Aloe Vera gel
  • 1 teaspoon carrot juice.
  • 1 teaspoon of potato juice.

Why?

Carrots helps in skin rejuvenation and beneficial for depigmentation. Raw potato helps in lightening hyper pigmented skin. Glycolic acid in sugar helps in even exfoliation of the skin, clearing up blocked pores and blackheads.
